3 There are three components to being a good citizen 1. Informed Be aware of rights and important issues. Understand govt structure and the processes of change Know how to have your voice heard. 2. Purposeful Develop beliefs and values based on your understanding of society. Develop a social conscience. Feel a civic purpose and accept your responsibilities as a citizen
