4. WHAT IS DIGITAL DIVIDE? IT IS A TERM THAT REFERS TO THE GAP BETWEEN DEMOGRAPHICS AND REGIONS THAT HAVE ACCESS TO MODERN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY, AND THOSE THAT DON'T OR HAVE RESTRICTED ACCESS.

Many companies are moving their activities onto the internet, and new businesses are being developed that operate purely on the internet.

12. DIGITAL DIVIDE IMPACTS ON EDUCATION Computer skills are now a requirement for any college student. Minorities or students from low-income families may not be able to enter college with insufficient technology background. Even students who can get accepted to college may not be able to finish due to a lack of computer skills
