2 Overview ECT recently moved into Bldg. 70 (adjacent to 80) All desired programming was not implemented due to funding Additional initiatives since programming Undergraduate and Graduate Programs Building Construction Networking and Telecommunications Workforce Development Instructional and Performance Technology (masters, specialist, doctoral) Fundraising helped to support redesign and renovation of Bldg. 70

3 Current Needs Office space Requesting 2 new offices beginning in Fall, 2011 for reassigned faculty (Opened space in 86 and 77 upon move to 70) Student space Capstone experiences for Building Construction students Summer Camp career awareness and promotion of programs Real-world application and learning space for Building Construction students and summer campers Research space Product and project display Energy conservation/monitoring initiatives (e.g., fuel cell research, sustainable materials/equipment) Timing: Summer- Fall, 2011
