BLACK GOLD Black gold is becoming more popular The bad side is that you have to dig more and more into Earth to keep getting this. If black gold is getting removed more and more from the Earth, the Earth will get weaker MINERALS Digging and mining minerals causes ecological disturbance, destruction of natural flora and fauna, pollution of air, land and water, instability of soil and rock masses, landscape degradation and radiation hazards It also damages vegetation

MINERALS Minerals make richer soil for the organisms and don’t cause much harm BLACK GOLD Black gold is oil and of course causes pollution which is harmful to everyone.

There was a mining accident at the Fairmount Coal Company that killed 269 people in 1907.There were two mines that were electrically wired together and the men were using black powder for blasting and there were traces of gas also. One morning the men came in and a man blasted through and cause the whole thing to explode. All but 4 men were killed. There was a big mess of minerals every were and it took 2 years to clean up.
