1- 2x 3Sheet Ply wood Board Nails Staples Net Pots 1- 2x 3 Styrofoam Board 2 pieces of 3of 2x 4 wood 2 pieces of 2 of 2x 4 wood 1- 3 x 4 black plastic liner for the box Kealakehe Chapter

Hammer Hand Saw or Skill Saw Tape Measure Utility Knife Staple Gun Kealakehe Chapter
12
Measure and Cut Sheet plywood to fit Styrofoam Board Next, measure and cut the 2x 4 wood Kealakehe Chapter
13
Attach the 2 X 4 box frame to the 2 x 3 plywood Measure the black plastic liner and drape the inside of the 2x 3 box, fasten liner using staple gun Kealakehe Chapter
14
Place Styrofoam on top of the 2x 3 box Use a utility knife to cut holes the size of the net pot and making sure that they are 5 inches apart (a total of 12 holes) evenly spaced Kealakehe Chapter
15
Place net pot in hole to make sure that it fits snuggly Note: you dont want to cut the hole too big so sunlight will not enter the box. Kealakehe Chapter
16
Place seeds in Oasis Growing media Place the Oasis Block in a Tupperware container or planting flat and water oasis so it is saturated. Kealakehe Chapter
17
Seeds will emerge usually in 10 – 21 days Seeds then can be transplanted into the net pot and placed in non-circulating hydroponic box Kealakehe Chapter
18
Fill hydroponics box half-way with water Kealakehe Chapter Place equal proportions of fertilizer solution from stock tanks. Adjust fertilizer level Adjust pH level as needed
19
Check your fertilizer and pH levels at least every other day to maintain proper growing environments for your plant. Kealakehe Chapter
20
Lettuce will mature around from 45-80 days and will be ready for harvest. Kealakehe Chapter
