Funding Amounts are an estimated funding Decrease in the percentage in Title IID & Title V for 2005 Funding will be released in July 2005 (Currently) No funding for Title IID for 2006 www.ed.gov

To increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and school districts to improve teacher and principal quality

Requirements: Effective training - classroom teachers to include Addressing different learning styles of students Improving student behavior in the classroom Involving parents in their childs education Understanding and using data and assessment to improve classroom practices and student learning Coordination of PD activities

To increase student learning through the effective integration of technology into the curricula and instruction with professional development.

Requirements: 25% of funds towards PD in the integration of technology into curricula and instruction Approved technology plan Verification of Childrens Internet Protection Act

To enable state and local agencies to implement promising reform and school improvement programs.

Demonstrates: Continuing source of innovation and educational improvement, including programs that support school libraries. Meeting the needs of all students including at-risk students.
