Exam Practicalities Candidates who have NOT submitted an assessed essay should answer THREE questions. Time allowed: 3 hours Candidates who have submitted an assessed essay should answer TWO questions. Time allowed: 2 hours. Candidates should not attempt the questions corresponding to their assessed essay. Read the instructions on the answerbook carefully and make sure that the particulars required are entered on each answerbook.

Revision strategy Use the lecture as a guide to what might be relevant, but show that you’ve done your own reading by citing authors. Try to use quotations not used in the lecture. Think across the weeks/topics, not just that each week corresponds to one essay question.
