3. My Twitter Page I have branded my page and customized the background

4. My Blog/Portfolio One of the goals of my Tweets is to drive traffic to my Wordpress Site which contains my Blog and my Portfolio

5. Sharing From my Website I offer many options for sharing my content including Twitter Share This

6. Twitter Cards By using Twitter cards I can insert media into my tweets and the tweets of users who share the content from my site

7. Twitter Cards One Issue I have had with Twitter Cards is that the image has to have a standard aspect ratio or the card won’t work properly. Twitter cards also must be validated by Twitter before use.

8. Content I use a lot of photographs in my Tweets. I have tried to capture current events and scenic shots as well as my “Photo of the Day” that is featured on my Website home page.

9. Content I’m also extremely passionate about Politics & Human Rights so the majority of my text tweets and many self created memes are based on this. The majority of my followers are from these tweets. This is a community I want to continue growing, many of whom are in the social media field.

10. Tools I have begun using Hootsuite and plan to start scheduling tweets with it. Also monitoring key topics. As well as utilizing what analytics it offers though limited for unpaid accounts.

11. Tools I’m using Bitly for link shortening and tracking.

12. Monitoring I am using Twitter Analytics to monitor the reach and reactions to my tweets and impressions from my twitter cards.

13. Monitoring Twtrland provides me more monitoring stats including the best time to send tweets.

14. Followers I have increased my Followers from less than 25 to as of now 53 all organically.

15. UnFollowers Oddly enough in one day I had 4 unfollows. The only posing I had that day is this. I’m trying not to take it personally ;-)

16. Conclusion I have learned a lot about Twitter and Twitter tools and will continue growing my presence on this platform. I want to grow my audience by adding more Technology and Social Media related Tweets and Information. Thank You Gary Robert Kane @GrinToronto
