2.  Not-for-profit organisation, resourced by its members, to advance employment opportunities for people with disability.  Assist members and clients to successfully engage with people with disability as employees, customers and as suppliers.  Current membership includes large corporations, small enterprises, State and Commonwealth Govt. and universities– 70 members employing around 800,000 staff or approximately 8% of Australian workforce.

3.  Facilitate an employers’ network  Develop workplace policies and procedures to build business/workplace capability in disability confidence  Assist organisations to implement the Employment Charter - a set of 10 principles based on ILO standards  Undertake a review of recruitment and selection practices  Deliver training for staff, managers and HR staff  Develop publications on relevant topics  Provide an employer’s information line  Organise events, seminars and breakfast briefings that provide knowledge and networking opportunities.  Offer mentoring and internships programs

6.
