Foreseen Changes if access to ECA5 possible with beam circulating in the SPS ring (RP OK) 2016/17: Identify all doors separating ECA5 from ECX5: pull cables and add extra instrumentation to acquire signals interlock in Chain 1 by the BA5 PLC & CL these doors shall be considered end-of-zone (only for evacuation) Remove the ECA5 PLC & CL from the interlock Chain 1 Keep the door YDPZ01.LIFT with existing mechanical lock or install SUSY badge reader (?) 2017/18: Install a non-interlocked access point in front of the lift -> pilot installation for the LS2 PPS works else 2016/17: no modifications planned 2017/18: install a non-interlocked access point in front of the lift -> pilot installation for the LS2 PPS works LS2: Move the interlock barrier to the new access point 18/06/2015T.Ladzinski GS/ASE3
