4. 4 SolPowered Confidential The Price is Right If you apply now, the following prices will remain the same for your project over a 20 year contract. Price for ground-mounted microFIT projects dropped by 20% on July 2 nd, 2010. Expect similar price drops soon.

5. 5 SolPowered Confidential Register and Apply You register for the microFIT program on the OPA website. You submit your application online. (Or, we can do it for a small fee that we refund later.)

6. 6 SolPowered Confidential Request to Connect We receive Conditional Offer of Contract from the OPA. We submit a Request to Connect to the LDC. They respond with a suite of required documents and fees. We will guide you in completing these documents and submitting them to the LDC. 1,200.00 + HST

7. 7 SolPowered Confidential Municipal Permit We are now ready to install the project. We apply for and obtain a municipal permit for your project.

8. 8 SolPowered Confidential Installation During or after installation, we apply for an electrical safety inspection from the ESA, who give us authorization to connect. We ensure that you are an active stakeholder in the installation.

9. 9 SolPowered Confidential Operation The OPA sends your Official Contract Offer electronically. The LDC verifies that all documentation and payments have been received and are accurate. We accept the OPA contract and the project is operational! System commissioning by SolPowered.

10. 10 SolPowered Confidential Payment Schedule The LDC is responsible for your payments, which correspond with your regular billing cycle. You will begin receiving payments for your green energy upon commercial operation. Remember – you will still pay your normal electricity bill. Your FIT program profits are documented separately.
