Mission/objectives often reflect program needs regulatory programs/industry/partnerships Generally perceived as non-biased Already doing some type of education/awareness Can sometimes do advocacy work Partnership allows for more effective work Positive cost/benefit results

WHY NOT ALWAYS A GREAT IDEA? Mission/objectives may not be similar to program needs of regulatory programs or partnerships Sometimes biased (to be effective) Focus may be limited to specific projects (background and credentials) Program priorities may not reflect partnership needs (i.e. funding constraints) May be not as flexible in certain situations Advocacy versus Reality (from both perspectives)
