5. Requirements for D.GE Certification  Achieve Body of Knowledge required for Diplomate status  B.S. + M.S. or 30 hours of specialty graduate courses  P.E. License  8 years post-P.E. progressive experience in specialty  Active in geotechnical engineering  Be of good moral character and high ethical standing  Complete application with references  Competency assessed by panel of peers including oral examination (may be waived)
