He was the oldest of 9 kids
His favorite sport was baseball

When he was 19 he got his first job at general electric in Syracuse

When matt was 14,a freshman in high school he started selling magazines detective stories and horrors
When he was 17 he won a short story writing contest
In his early 20’s he began selling short story’s and articles
