Present DAQ Status  Procured new Universal Multichannel Power Supply (SY-2527) from CAEN which is integrated to our DAQ system.  A new Ethernet based CAMAC controller is integrated in to the DAQ and made operational. (Sumit’s Talk)  Constantly check for signal formation in Avalanche and Streamer mode as a cross-check for the complete system (prototype glass RPCs)  We are establishing the facility for fabricating prototype Bakelite RPCs (procured raw material) Continued…….

Ongoing Updates  VME Crate with modules (ADC/TDC/Scaler) order placed  Gas cylinders are doubled  Nitrogen is also procured for pressure/leak tests  Can also be used for flushing of RPCs for moisture control  New RPC storage area would be available in 2 wks (civil work over, cabling etc), 400sq. Ft.  As per the new RPC group’s guidelines, may need to double TDC and the power supply!  For testing 5 RPCs in a stack with all read out channels  Will be running the system integration tests with the bakelite RPCs soon.  VME software work will start once VME arrives (with the help from Andrei @ CMS)
