What do you think are some challenges for Canada? Canada’s economy is very dependent on the U.S. - Canada is afraid that the U.S. will dominate the trade Quebec wants to secede (leave Canada and become their own country) because the French think they are treated badly Acid Rain – Pollution

What might result if Quebec secedes? Quebec has control over St. Lawrence Seaway and Great Lakes Region Quebec is in the center of the country – dividing Canada Lower defenses – both could look weak Loss of economy Canada no longer bilingual ¼ of the population would leave – smaller pop NAFTA????
