8. 2011 ACRIN Annual Meeting Summary The ACRIN accrual project coordinator provides supplemental staffing support for P.I.’s and junior faculty in study start-up, maintenance and accrual. The accrual coordinator can serve as a central contact for multiple projects; and as a liaison between the academic center and ACRIN. A local ACRIN website is a clearinghouse for essential institution-specific study development tools. The UW ACRIN Accrual Project is a model system that addresses the unique barriers to research common to large academic centers.
