4 The students will register for a free online website, make use of online tools for language learning, and learn about the rules for the free website. Back to Overview

5 Students read authentic documents and participate in online tutorials. The students will memorize key vocabulary and apply it in different ways as part of instructions and descriptions, and master the use of passive and active voice for descriptions and instructions. Main scaffolding: the online texts to be used by the students. These will be accessed through Wordlink http://multidict.net/wordlink/ where all words become linked to dictionaries. 6 Students will use and acquire several Cognitive Skills: They will create sample webpages using the website tools, evaluate possible limitations of the free website and also the impact of the resulting pages. 7 Students will know how to access free webserver services, and will understand the restrictions of such sites. They will know about common copyright issues. Overall, this will enable development of competences for future work on creating online pages. One additional feature will be the ability to identify and access appropriate key dictionaries for specified purposes. Back to Overview

8 Students will understand basic principles of copyrights with regard to information and communication technology. The webpages created can be used as a presentation portfolio for documenting practical work through photos and descriptions. Back to Overview
