13.  A student cannot register until his/her Advisor Hold is released.  A student’s Advisor Hold should be released ONLY after student is advised.  To release an Advisor Hold, go to myGate / Teaching Advising / Student Search OR Advisee Listing; click Release Advisor Hold.  Academic Advisor, Chair, and Dean can release Advisor Holds.
