2. Six Grade Expectations
Students will: SS.B.1.3.1: Uses various map forms to acquire information ( Location, distance, direction, scale, symbols) SS.B.1.3.2: Develops and uses mental maps of selected regions ( Identify what continent a country is in). SS.B.1.3.3: understand that people create social, political, and economic geographic divisions of the Earth’s surface ( national borders)

3. Six grade expectations
Students will: SS.B.1.3.6: Know physical and human criteria used to define regions ( hemispheres, mountains, deserts, countries). SS.B.2.3.5: Understands the various geographic factors that may divide or unite a country ( mountains, rivers, valleys). SS.A.3.3.5: Understands selected aspects of political, economic, and social institutions in selected cultures in Eastern civilizations ( government, social traditions, customs, economic systems, religious institutions).

4. Travel Brochure Project
Your Brochure should include:
The country you are doing.
What continent the country is located.
What climate the country has.
What landforms are in the country.
Important facts and information about the country. ( Explain places of historical relevance. What makes it a tourist site).
Currency- what type of money is used in the country.

5. Travel Brochure Project
Culture- what type of food or recipes in this country.
Have pictures and drawings to display on brochure.
