In their religious beliefs they worshipped spirits of family ancestors, supreme god and lesser gods. They consulted gods through oracle bones.

8. Their writing system consisted of many different characters, and each represented an idea. Technologically, they manufactured weapons and religious items. They also produced bronze work. They also produced silk clothing.
