3. Our SIP for 2012-2013 The SIP is in the Differentiated School Accountability Format as mandated by the State of Florida Uses goals in: »Reading »Writing »Math »Science »Attendance »Parent Involvement and aims for improvements over last years scores

4. Changes in how scores were reported Students scores are in one of three levels/categories: –Emergent (1-3) –Achieved (4-6) –Commended (7-9) Most of our students are Emergent

Reading End of Year Results: 9% of Everhart students assessed in reading by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 3 – 10) achieved a level 4 or higher. 31% achieved a level 3 or higher. 42% made learning gains, 56% of the lowest 25% made adequate progress. Next Years goal: 35% of Everhart students assessed in Reading by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 3 – 10) will achieve a level 3 or higher. 45% will make learning gains 55% of the lowest 25% will make adequate progress

Writing End of Year Results: 17% of Everhart students assessed in writing by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 4, 8 & 10) achieved a level 4 or higher. 48% achieved a level 3 or higher Next Years goal: 50% of Everhart students assessed in writing by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 4, 8 & 10) will achieve a level 3 or higher as evidenced by the Florida Alternate Assessment Report results.

7. Math End of Year Objective: 8% of Everhart students assessed in mathematics by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 3 – 10) achieved a level 4 or higher 33% achieved a level 3 or higher 40% made learning gains 47% of the lowest 25% made adequate progress Next years goal: 35% of the students tested on the FAA will achieve a level 3 or higher. 45% will make learning gains 50% of the lowest 25% will make learning gains

8. Science End of Year Results: 12% of Everhart students assessed in science by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 5, 8 & 10) achieved a level 4 or higher. 45% of the students achieved a level 3 or higher. Next years goal: 50% of Everhart students assessed in science by the Florida Alternate Assessment (grades 5, 8 & 10) will achieve a level 3 or higher as evidenced by the Florida Alternate Assessment Report results.

12. Attendance Goals Average daily attendance of students at Everhart is 89.22% –Next year: 90% or more 72% were absent for 10 days or more –Next year: 60% or less 24 students with excessive unexcused tardies –Next year: 15 students or less

13. Parent Involvement 82% of the parents were in attendance at their childs IEP meeting. Next year – 80% or more Attendance at school sponsored activities will have at least 10 parents or more.

14. We are a part of Leon County Schools Accreditation Process Self studies involved in the process help us better determine the direction of our school and ultimately will impact our School Improvement Plan which is a critical component of continuous improvement
