2 Welcome to St. Peter! This week in our services we continue a summer worship series titled, “The Believer Follows Christ”. This week’s Scripture readings, prayers and hymns emphasize that “Followers of Christ Support Kingdom Work”. Thank you for joining us for worship, and may you be richly blessed through the faith building Word of our gracious God!

6 Prayer before Worship Dear merciful God, how can I ever thank you for your goodness and love towards me, a sinner? You have chosen me to be your child for this life and the eternal one still to come. And on top of that: you invite me to serve in your Son’s kingdom and to support the ministry of the gospel with my gifts of time, talents and treasures. Thank you for giving me the means to do so! Accept my gifts and service for the sake of Jesus. Amen.
