Revisions to SPP/APR Process The reports submitted February 1, 2014, completed the first SPP/APR cycle Beginning with the SPP/APR submitted February 1, 2015, states were required to submit electronically through the GRADS 360 website. This was the first submission where the SPP and APR were submitted as a single report.

Rule 6A-6.03029, F.A.C. – IFSP Rule Rule background School districts have the option of serving children birth through 2 as a collaborative partner with Early Steps School districts may use an IFSP for a child age 3 through 5 (optional) in lieu of an IEP if the parent consents in writing and parent receives detailed explanation of differences between IFSP and IEP Rule was amended to ensure consistency with Part C changes in federal regulations, Early Steps Policy Handbook, and correct multiple references to other rules Last revised - 2004

Districts must seek parental consent for evaluation when A child age 3 to kindergarten entry age receives a developmental screening through the school district or through FDLRS and based on the results of the screening it is suspected that the child may be a child with a disability in need of special education and related services In these circumstances, consent must be requested within 30 calendar days of the determination, unless other timeline agreed to
