3 Motivations Industry wants to develop new H2 and FC markets, BUT there are a few key obstacles… Market Needs: How about a H2 FC inside? Support: C&S references, where? Insurance: Providers will listen to whom? H2 is dangerous… Applications: H2 as a fuel for my boat…not listed here! Project costs doubling to satisfy permitting authorities who lack info!

4 Public Acceptance of H2 & FC CTFCA C&S Working Group has conceived this project! (Thanks to Ian Macintyre) WG has been led by Industry since 2002! Ballard (Jeff Grant) Air Liquide (Kim Curran) Powertech Labs (Joe Wong) This ‘Tool’ will help us realize the obstacles ahead and the obvious need to reach consensus amongst permitting authorities for H2
