Implementation of the Children and Young People Act (Scotland) Passed in February Draft statutory guidance issued Commencement 1 st August 2014 Parts 6,7 and 8 relate to Early Learning and Childcare and the powers within LA related to day care and out of school care Entitlement of early Learning and Childcare for all 3 and 4 year olds Increased numbers of eligible two year olds to include children from “workless households.”
