Dressing for Success Francis Scott Key is committed to establishing a safe environment where our focus is on academics. It is the intent of the school program that students be dressed and groomed in an appropriate manner that will not interfere with or detract from, the educational process.

Why wear uniforms….. Creates a sense of unity Reduces peer pressure among students Promotes a single standard of dress Helps to boost academic performance Builds a sense of community, pride and promotes school spirit. Students in unified dress are more confident, positive and focused on success Students no longer focus on expensive name brands or fashions. The school environment becomes less competitive. Every one fits in!

Compliance All students are expected to be in compliance with the “Dress for Success” uniform policy within the first 10 calendar days of enrollment. Students who arrive to school without a complete uniform will be issued a violation and given a uniform from the loaner closet and their “trendy” clothes will be kept by the teacher and returned at the end of the day.
