Diet Wolves are carnivores. Which means that they eat meat. They feed mostly on large hooved animals, such as caribou, deer, elk, and moose. They can also save time with smaller animals like squirrels, and birds. Sometimes wolves eat berries. http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/32800000/wolf-wolves-32863628-1920-1200.jpg

Where in the world Wolves can be found anywhere where there are four seasons and snowy winters. Wolves once used to be found all over the northern hemisphere, as a result of habitat loss and hunters, wolves are now mostly found in Alaska, Canada, and a lot of Asia. There are small found in the states Idaho, Northern Michigan, Wisconsin, Wyoming, North Carolina, Oregon, and upper parts of California. Also the country of Greenland. Packs Wolves live in groups called packs. The average quantity for a wolf pack is 6-10 wolves. Although, in the winter packs might join together for warmth and protection. In a pack there is a dominate male, a dominant female, and the “babysitters”. A dominate wolf is shown with its head held high, ears perked up, and tail out. A less qualified wolf is shown with its head low, ears back, and the tail in between the wolf’s legs. Wolves howl to gather the rest of the pack, and to show other wolves where they are. http://www.seeds4thesoul.com/wp- content/uploads/2013/12/wolf-wolves- 32863734-1920-12001.jpg
