3. There was a man named Abraham Who had a wife so fine, Sarah was her name

4. Together, they would walk in faith And now the two of them are in heaven’s hall of fame

5. They’re just two sinners saved by grace Who walked by faith and not by sight

6. And saw God’s power in their lives They served the Lord in all His might

7. Now, when the Lord called Abraham He sent him to a land that was far away from home

8. But Abe was not afraid to go For by his faith in God throughout that land he’d roam

9. He was a sinner saved by grace Who walked by faith and not by sight

10. And saw God’s power in his life He served the Lord in all His might

11. He was God’s faithful friend The one God swore that He’d defend

12. By his faith he won God’s praise The man who walked in all God’s ways

13. Now Abe and Sarah had no child Though God has promised them a bouncing baby boy

14. The two had gotten very old It seemed impossible but their faith would bring them joy

15. They’re just two sinners saved by grace Who walked by faith and not by sight

16. And saw God’s power in their lives They served the Lord in all His might

17. He was God’s faithful friend The one God swore that He’d defend

18. By his faith he won God’s praise The man who walked in all God’s ways

19. So Abe’s the father of our faith He trusted in the Lord as did his faithful wife

20. Two humble souls who walked with God We must now imitate the way they walked in life

21. They’re just two sinners saved by grace Who walked by faith and not by sight

22. And saw God’s power in their lives They served the Lord in all His might
