Introducing Many Eyes: A Data Visualization Tool Many Eyes is a free, online data visualization tool that allows users to: Search through an extensive collection of data or Upload new information and select a desired visualization type or Comment or collaborate on others’ data sets http://www-958.ibm.com/

Why Use Many Eyes? Use as a graphic organizing tool: Create graphs, word clouds, charts and other visuals A different way of approaching historical research – students/teachers create data sets and different visualizations Critically discuss with students how information (or evidence) can be interpreted and biased in its presentation — based on which data is used, what information is left out, and the particular manner in which data is visualized
