Sponsoring Agencies CORE ACTIVITIES 20012002200320042005 CIDA Four application components have been implemented in cooperation with UEM networks, those are ADR, JAR, UEM Subsector Network and Professional Support, and Application of Research Result and Lesson Learnt. Period 2003-2008. UN-Habitat UEM co-manages UN-Habitat Urban Management Program of Asia (UMP-Asia). It focused on poverty alleviation, urban environmental management and participatory governance in cities and municipalities. Period 2001-2005. UN-Habitat and UNEP UEM has been a node of UN-Habitat and UNEP sponsored sustainable city program UNEP UEM is also a node of Network of Institution for Sustainable Development Toyo University, Japan Toyo-AIT workshops were designed for Japanese undergraduate student to familiarize them with urban environmental problems in developing world. Ninety students were participated. Total budget was THB 4,052,243. Period 2003-2006 OUTREACH, TRAINING ACTIVITIES AND SPONSORED PROJECTS, 2001-2005

CURRENT SURVEY ON UEM ALUMNI Seventy-two percent of UEM graduates indicated the knowledge acquired from UEM AIT had been very useful. Number of related paper presented in national seminars/workshops/conference after study in UEM was double. Fifty-eight and 62 percents of employers had opinion that UEM graduates have high level of theoretical knowledge and practical experience respectively.
