Aztlán Island 2009 - present Aztlán is the legendary ancestral home of the Nahua peoples. "Aztec" is the Nahuatl word for "people from Aztlán.” Aztec/Aztlán heritage represents the diversity of our regional histories. The island design combines realism in the form of familiar SDSU architectural landmarks and local terrain with the creative idealism for which Second Life® is famous.
