Mn/DOT Sign Shop Spliced Signs Spliced Signs Signs manufactured by the Mn/DOT Sign Shop with a dimension greater than 48 inches on the smallest side will be spliced. Signs requiring splicing will be shipped in pieces. Splice plates will be attached to one side of the panel and predrilled holes will be provided for the other panel. The pieces will be banded together for shipping. The Contractor shall fasten panels together using fasteners furnished by the Mn/DOT Sign Shop.
