Current Project- CHEMICAL WEAPONS ELIMINATION-Bechtel is helping the U.S. government eliminate unused chemical weapons at defense sites in Colorado and Kentucky. Past Project- $750m Project- (Bechtel & McConnell Dowell) Aqua Hydroelectricity system for meridian energy, working on cost development until September 2004. Abandoned in 2004 due to design changes resulting from geology report & resource management act making it difficult to achieve consent. Past Project- Gas to gasoline project in New Plymouth between 1982-1985.
