April 29, 2010Operations Division17 Summary 99.7% Compliance with Tech Memo statewide Customers are positive, but satisfaction numbers went down and are nearing negative territory Many more grooved and wet-reflective markings being used, and unit costs for those are going down Increase in Preventative Maintenance hampering performance Marking durability is poor on chip seals and seal coats New mixes of hot mix asphalt causing some marking adhesion issues We need to find ways to improve perception and performance of our markings
