The macaroni penguins have long orange feathers on top of there heads. They are black and white with smooth round bodys. The emperor penguins are as tall as a five-year-old child. The baby king penguins have fluffy brown coats. The baby penguins lose ther feathers as they grow. Macaroni Emperor King

The penguins live in the South pole and in the Antarctica. They can also be found in the Southern Hemisphere.

The peguins closer to the Equator eat more fish and the penguins closer to the Antarctica eat more krill and squid. The food can be found less then sixty feet of the surface. The chiks are always hungry, ther parents bring them krill in there throast. Squid Krill

Penguins can live from fifteen to twenty years depending on the specie. The blue penguin also knowed as the fairy penguin are the smallest penguins. They are about 0.41m long and weights about 1kg or 2.2 pounds. The emperor penguin is about 1.1m tall and weights about 27 to 41kg or 60 to 90 pounds.

At spring the males arrive the first and wait for the femelles, then they mate and lay eggs. Most of the Gentoo penguins have 2 eggs at a time. For the Emperor penguins the femelle lays 1 egg in the middle of winter and then she goes back to the sea to eat.
