2 The ASU-Maricopa Alliance was initiated in 2004 to: Provide coordinated student services Guarantee course transferability Increase degree completion at both institutions The Alliance was expanded to include the Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPP) in December 2008.

3 Alliance is the umbrella relationship between ASU and the Maricopa Community Colleges. MAPP is one component of the Alliance. Alliance MAPP

4  Academic preparation is the single most important determinant of student success.  Academically prepared transfer students perform as well as native university students.

7 Student meets with Maricopa advisor after October 1 st to sign up for MAPP 3 Student has up to 3 years to complete the MAPP Student transfers to ASU to complete bachelor’s degree

8 Prospective transfer students may meet with an advisor to talk about the transfer process. Appointments are held throughout the valley.
