Rock Information Each Rock type will include the following information: Types- Igneous= intrusive/extrusive; Sedimentary= clastic, organic, chemical; Metamorphic= foliated/ nonfoliated. Process = magma vs lava, compaction/cementation, weathering/erosion; heat and pressure Where Formed= on the surface, deep underground, or from solutions, etc… 3 Examples and: required for preAP and extra credit for onlevel: 2 descriptions of each example: Such as: pumice: light weight, pores, rough
