How do Superhero Comic Book authors hook and hold readers? How do Superhero Comic Book authors hook and hold readers?

What is the relationship between Comic Books and truth? The relationship between comic books and truth is there are no truth in any Comic books because they are all fiction based novels. Comic books can have some kind of truth because the characters in the comic books can be based on real people and stories just a little modified Also the truths are people have to believe that the world can become Civil and good with no people terrorizing the town or village (" Superhero Database”) Also the emotions of superheroes are truth and how they have certain roles and a quote that says that is “With great power comes great responsibility” (Spiderman 3”) There are no sources because there are no truth in comic books because they are fiction novels so they are fiction

What are the most famous Superhero's in Superhero Comic Books? 1.Aqua Man 2.Batman 3.Captain America 4.Cyclops 5.Flash 6.Gambit 7.Hercules 8.Hulk 9.Iron Man 10.Professor X 11.Nightcrawler 12.Spider-Man 13.Storm 14.Superman 15.Wolverine ("List of Famous Superheroes.“) ("List of superheroes and super villains”)

Why are the pictures so important in graphic novels? “ In these formats, the images are important to the storyline; however, a) the author does not rely on a melding between image and language to tell the story, b) images and text are often separated from one another, and c) the author does not use sequential (linear or progressive) illustrations/images to convey a story.” “ In graphic novels, including wordless graphic novels, readers apply this skill to multiple images while also synthesizing or integrating knowledge from prior panels. ” ("Sequential Art, Graphic Novels, & Comics." ) Images and pictures are important in Graphic novels because they set the mood for the comic and show what is happening without having to write it. ("Superhero Comic Books Are Still Dying”)

How do the authors of Superhero Comic Books show that they aren't pieces of literature? Comic books are not works of literature because literature is written works on an artistic level involving word not words and pictures. Someone that disagrees that Comic books are literature said “I‘ve got no problem with people reading whatever comic they wish, as long as they’re entertained. However, I hate the argument what they’re reading is literature just because some works in the sequential art genre approach the heights of other art forms.” ("Comics Bulletin”) Other people like Maya Reynolds are against Comic Books as shown in this “have not read this particular "novel" but I'm familiar with the genre so I'm going to go out on a limb here. First, I'll bet for what it is, it's pretty good. Probably damned good. But it's a comic book. And comic books should not be nominated for National Book Awards, in any category. That should be reserved for books that are, well, all words.” ("Maya Reynolds: Are Graphic Novels Literature?“)
