2. 1.While he was in the hallway he used to draw and make up comics. 2.The high school Dav went to was very strict and the teachers hated his humor even more. 3. His principal told him that he could never make a living by being an artist

3. 1.He went to Kent State university and decided to do major in arts. 2. One of his professors complimented on his writing skills and encouraged him to write books and he won his first book was published World War One. 3. After a year Dav had won the contest and he was flying to Kansas city, Missouri to meet the editors and the publishers at landmark editions.

4. Dav Pilkey 1.Shortly after the publication of World War One Dav moved back to Kent, Ohio where he wrote and illustrated many more books. 2.Moving to Oregon was a great adventure for Dav Pilkey and his dog because he had never seen Oregon before.

5. Dav Pilkey  1. Currently, Dav is working on epic novels based on Captain Underpants comic books he wrote in elementary school sitting out in the hallway.  2. When Dav was a kid making silly books out in the hallway he never thought he would make them for a living.  3. The coolest thing is that he used to get in trouble for being the class clown… and now it’s his job
