The motto of our presentation is “LOOK AFTER THIS PLANET, IT ’S THE ONLY ONE WE HAVE.” (The appeal of Prince Philip of Britain, president of the World Wide Fund for Nature).

The most serious environmental problems are: pollution in its many forms( water pollution, air pollution, nuclear pollution) noise and fumes from cars, buses, planes etc ; destruction of wildlife and countryside beauty; shortage of natural resource; the growth of population.

This narrow strip of land along the Black Sea is Sochi. From space it seems to be so small and unprotected.

Sochi is the gem of the Russian Black Sea coast, occupying a comparatively narrow plain in the foothills that is cut through gorges and gullies along which small rivers flow down into the sea. The mountains shelter Sochi from the cold breathe of winter. Wet subtropical climate dominates in Sochi and sun shines 300 days a year.

Moreover it has become the capital of the Winter Olympic Games 2014. We all are proud of this fact very much.

Sochi is buried in foliage of numerous parks all year round.

THE DENDRARIUM PARK This subtropical park, the largest one in Russia, was founded in 1892 by Sergey Khudekov.A collection of more then a thousand of species from all the continents is on show here.

Problems which we mentioned in the beginning, concern also our native city. They are: Cutting down of woods ; Destruction of an inhabitance of animals;

Problems of our town Air pollution because of infinite traffic jams and car fumes;

They speak about building of artificial island in the Black Sea. Will it be a cause of death of sea animals?

There is a solution of these problems Sports lines will be build out of a buffer zone of the Caucasian Reserve - of the Pear ridge, it will prevent mass cutting down of woods. In the Sochi National Park the Center on breeding and rehabilitation of leopards.

We will solve these problems Russian ecologists are successful in restoring the extinct herds of aurochs that used to live here.

We will solve these problems 1000000 grains of roe were put in pawn for revival of population of the Black Sea salmon. They will be let out in the Sochi rivers.

The future of roads Designing and building of new traffic intersections will unload our streets, building of roundabout road round Sochi will be finished.
