To be considered a teaching professional, you must be able to answer yes to the following two questions: 1) Are you working under your instructional certification? 2) Do you provide direct instruction to students? (i.e. Do you plan, teach, & assess the instruction?) If your answer yes to #1, but no to #2, you are a nonteaching professional. 4
