CASTLE The recent desire of living within the nature has brought the plateau tourism in the agenda. Ayancık Akgöl tourism centre, Gerze Güzfındık -Bozarmut Plateau tourism centre, Türkeli Kurugöl tourism centre are few of our tourism centres as declared by the board of ministers.

A VIEW FROM CASTLE İnceburun, the northern end of Turkey, is covered with forests and very near to the city. Besides, there are the Akliman and Hamsilos Bay which have been declared as 1st Grade Site Area they are natural wonders.

HAMSİLOS The Sarıkum Lake and its surroundings have been declared as a protection area. There are many bird species in this area and many wild horses around Sarıkum.

HAMSİLOS The Sinop Harbour has always been a shelter for the seamen from the ancient times since it is a natural harbour. Sinop is suitable for yacht tourism due to the characteristics of the Black Sea and because it is between the Western and Eastern Black Sea. The yachts visiting Sinop prove this

ERFELEK WATERFALLS In order to make the İnaltı Cave a place of tourism the projects have been completed and the studies will be started.

There are places for camping and caravan tourism. Akliman -Hamsilos and the areas inside the forest in Sarıkum are suitable for jogging and horse riding. It is a very different feeling to watch sunset in Sinop.

SUNSET IN SİNOP The most important factor in tourism is man. It is very important for the citizens of the region to comprehend this. People of Sinop have done this and they are civilized, tolerant and hospitable. Therefore, foreigners coming to Sinop should not have any strange feeling. They feel themselves home.
