2. Location Clonakilty is 45 minutes from Cork city. It is on the southern coast of Ireland. It is surrounded by water and beautiful beaches.

3. History of Clonakilty Last year Clonakilty was 400 years old. The president of Ireland helped us celebrate.

4. Achievements Clonakilty was the first Fairtrade town in Ireland. Clonakilty won Tidiest Town in Ireland in 2012.

5. Food Clonakilty is famous for producing food such as: black pudding,chocolate, and dairy products.

6. Our Hobbies We play alleyball at school. Our friends taught us alleyball when they returned from Germany last year.

11. Our school Our school is named after a famous leader in our War of Independence, Micheál Ó Coileáin. We moved to a new school building in September and we love it!
