1. Okinawa International Hotel Management System

2. Overview Currently at the Okinawa International hotel, routine procedures like; vacant room inquiry, reservation and cancellation are done by telephone. As the Internet population grows, we are considering of providing those services room information and reserve or cancel a room on Web browser.

3. For the vacancy inquiry function, we expect users to input requests on browser, and then a hotel staff accepts the request and makes a reservation of a suitable room for a specific period of time. And, the similar procedure for cancellation is desired. For implementing WWW server, we are planning on using the service of an ISP (Internet Service Provider)

4. Case Study Develop a system which includes the following functions based on the given conditions described below.  Reservation function Enables users to reserve a room on Web browser.

5. On reservation Users are asked to input following items;  Name  Telephone number  Room type  E-mail address  Address  Gender  Arrival date Departure date If reservation is possible, insert those data into both the reservation table and the customer table.
