G.P.O The G.P.O was the headquarters for the rising. During the rising the G.P.O was shot at many times. If you go to it now the bullet holes are still there.

The Laws The laws were like the old penal laws The Irish were not allowed to speak there own language The Irish were not allowed go to church or say mass.

The death of Micheal Collins When the Irish found out he was dead they were all chanting the big fella.

Executions There was 16 executions as a result of the Easter rising. The executions were held at Casement. They were hung or shot.

Rising outside of Dublin An Irish volunteer unit outside of Dublin decided to attack British forces. But they lost because they were poorly armed.

Bloody Sunday Dublin were supposed to play Tipperary. Then British soldiers were sent in and shot randomly into the stands. This is a cartoon version of Croke park

Civil war 2 The war was tough short and bloody Over 800 people died as a result of the civil war

Independence This war changed Irish history for ever The Irish soldiers fought for years to get freedom. This is the old Irish flag.

Hedge schools The Irish kids got a hard time at English schools so the Irish set up these hedge schools.
