5. Welcome! We’re so glad you are here! … at least we are acting like we are….now what…?? Culture Change Are inaccurate assumptions about transfer students influencing the culture of your campus?

6. 2-year transfers aren’t prepared for academic rigor of 4- year schools. Transfer students don’t know what they want – can’t figure it out. They’ve already been in college and don’t need help transitioning to their new environment. Transfer students are not ‘our’ students. Transfer students are more likely to leave – again.
