Difference between praise and worship

Praise Praises are basically giving credit to God for the things He's done for us. (i.e. Thank God that... happened.) Ps 9:11 Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. Ps 33:2 Praise the Lord with harp, sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Is 42:12 Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands. Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, this is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. According to the above, Praise consists of song, music, words, and we are to do this consistently, even when it is a sacrifice.

Worship 1 John 5:3 shows what true worship of God is. Worship involves praises, but it also means that you obey God. “For our love for God means that we obey his commands. And his commands are not too hard for us. Worship includes the act of Praises, but also includes singing, adoration, etc, etc, etc. Worship is far more involved. Worship will also include obedience to God in your day to day life, acknowledgement of God in all the things you do, before and as you're doing them... etc.
