6 When writing email, take care Do you really need to send email? – A phone call? – Email later, with better information? – Check website (FAQ?) Choose an appropriate subject line – Consider including details Choose an appropriate salutation Don’t attach very large files – Use links instead NEVER attach an MSWord file which contains only text – Write in in the email itself
