2. -Polish mathematician. -Enrolled at University of Warsaw in 1899, in the Department of Mathematics and Physics. -Received his doctorate and appointed to the University of Lwow in 1908. -In 1928 he became vice- chairman of the Warsaw Scientific Society, and elected chairman of the Polish Mathematical Society. -Spent most of his time in Poland as a professor at the University of Warsaw.
